Objective

This investigation, underwritten by the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is an investigation of the scope of unexplained sudden cardiac death among residents of Multnomah County, Oregon.  A novel comprehensive approach of clinical, epidemiologic, environmental, genetic and proteomic analysis is employed for the pursuit of concealed etiologies of unexplained sudden cardiac death.
